Red Onion Mediterranean Restaurant

I got the fillet mignon and it took #1 best steak I've ever had. Service was so so ((just kidding)) everything was amazing!! please come visit you won't regret it ! You can feel the love put into how the food is made. Authentic.

The food here is delicious. You can tell the food is made with intention. Shoutout to the chef! I will definitely be coming back.I ordered two servings of the Greek Nachos! Extra meat & extra pita.

So good!! Definitely check this place out if you like quality food made with love. The place is very small, probably ten or less tables inside. We decided to sit outside which wasn't all that tranquil because it's right by the road but it is a cute little seating area (if you're open to suggestions I recommend creating more of a barrier around the patio with plants or even putting up some lattice walls). The food was amazing! We shared an order of falafel and the chicken tava which comes with a salad. Everything was delicious-- the falafel was well balanced, perfectly crispy and not dried out. The chicken tava melts in your mouth. It's pricey and we probably showed our financial status by the way we practically licked every dish clean our bill was about 50 for 4 pieces of falafel, side salad, chicken tava entree, and two fountain drinks. Money well spent though!

So it's not very often that I leave a review before I've even left the restaurant but WOW! My Husband and I are visiting Destin for our 21st anniversary and we felt like having Mediterranean food for dinner and we are absolutely SAD that we are heading home in 2 days and cannot have it again!! The food was delicious, The service was excellent and the restaurant is so stinking CUTE!! Everything was perfect! We shared a falafel appetizer and both had the Gyro sandwich with fries. If you are wanting authentic, delicious mediterranean food... GET IT! You will not be disappointed!

Such a cute spot for a date night! The food was absolutely delicious. The sweet chili calamari was the perfect appetizer. We had the gyro platter and the filet mignon as our meals. The steak literally melts in your mouth. Highly recommend this cute restaurant!!

The food here is awesome! Definitely get the tapas platter! But even better than the food, was the service. Sydnee went above and beyond even during a rush to give us excellent service! Would come back again just for the great service, give her a raise!

In a sea of tourist trap seafood restaurants, you have "Red Onion." The flavors are incredible. Order anything on the menu and it will be amazing. I could write a 5 paragraph review about how amazing everything was, but I think you'll get the point. Break away from the norm and go to the Red Onion.

We had an incredible experience at this Mediterranean restaurant during our trip. We ordered a chicken burger, but unfortunately, it was slightly undercooked. However, the staff handled the situation wonderfully! They sincerely apologized, didn’t charge us for the burger, and quickly brought us a perfectly cooked replacement.To go above and beyond, they also served some delicious pita bread on the side and surprised us with a complimentary cheesecake before we left. It’s rare to find such attentive and thoughtful service, and this restaurant truly made our visit special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer care.
